Past Lady Captain, Jackie Fisher, took the opportunity at a gathering of ladies at MMGC on Wednesday 18th February to celebrate the remarkable achievements of two of our long standing members, Janet Hipkin and Sue Stimson. Last year, they played more than twenty 9-hole qualifying rounds during the summer season and Janet also won the putting competition at the Hickory Day held during the Centenary Celebrations – not bad for both ladies who will be celebrating their 94th birthdays this year! We wish them many more rounds of golf and look forward to seeing them out on the course again soon.
