The final round of the Autumn Trophy was recently played with three members in with a chance of being the overall winner at the start. The competition of a pairs better ball with both to score on the Par threes was played with some very good scores recorded.
First: Mike Benzies and Alan Newton with 56 points (£15.00 each)
Second: Peter Poolan and Tyler Smith with 55 points (£10.00 each)
Third: Craig Dawson and Ben Donovan with 54 points (£5.00 each)
Two’s Pot: Colin Kitchen recorded the only two on the day and wins £49.00 (£22.00 from this round and £27.00 carried forward from round five).
Nearest the PIN winning a bottle of wine: Mike Benzies
Taking the best four scores from the six rounds played the overall winner of the Autumn Trophy for this year is Mike Benzies. The trophy was presented to Mike by Club Captain Phil Curtis on the day.
