John, Matt and Richard
In fairly benign conditions for the 1st December, the third round of the Autumn Trophy took place this Sunday and 44 players made the early morning shotgun start after a welcome breakfast of coffee and bacon baps.
The format was a three ball Stableford, with two scores to count on the odd holes and all three scores to count on the even holes.
After an excellent round of nett 69, Matt Catton and his team took first place and the 10 points on offer. The top three teams were:
1st: Matt Catton, John Webb and Richard Faubert 97 points
2nd: Neil Eaves, Ray Catton and Mick Cavani 92 points
3rd: Steve Tagg, Adrian Green and Matthew Davies 91 points ocb
Nearest the pin on the 14th and the winner of a bottle of wine was Steve Tagg.
