The excellent February weather encouraged 43 golfers to turn out for the rescheduled Autumn Trophy on Sunday 24th February. With clearing weather conditions, but after a delayed start because of fog, the teams of three and four golfers started with a shotgun start. The greens, although still slightly soft, were in good condition after being cut and rolled.
Bob and Steve
The end result was an excellent score of 112 points by first placed team led by Steve Goddard with Bob Luke and David Bailey. Then Club Captain Gerry Stephens, Andy Westwood and Richard Haines were in 2nd place with 104 points. In 3rd place were Paul Gough, Seniors Captain Dick Chapman and Mark Lewis with 102 points.
