Burns Night Supper on 27th January was a great success. 50 members and guests attended and were greeted at the door by piper Jamie Meeks . All guests enjoyed a four course meal of the traditional Cock-a Leekie soup, Haggis, Tatties and Neeps, Roast Aberdeen Angus Beef with Roast Potatoes, Yorkshire Pudding and seasonal vegetables, followed by Cranachan for Dessert what a feast!
The meal of course was accompanied by the odd tot of whisky or two, port for the loyal toast and much wine and merriment. Scotsman, Kevin Robertson performed the Address to the Haggis and gave the Immortal memory to the Bard whilst husband and wife team, Haydn and Liz Snow provided the toast to the lassies and the reply. Club Vice Captain, Glenn Price was Chairman for the evening and brought his own brand of humour to the event. Thank you to everyone who contributed and to the Clubhouse team for their hard work
