The first ever Club Match Play Knockout Finals Day was held on Saturday 12 September. Finalists from the Club summer match play knockout competitions that were able to took part.
Club Captain, Brendan Boyce announced the players onto the tee to the spectators who had arrived to support the players.
Matt Catton beat John Burgess to win the Gents Muir Cup, Adrian Green won the played Scott Cartwright to win the Muir plate, The senior Singles plate was won by John Squires beating Eddie Cham, Denise Waldron knocked out Maureen Stapleford to win the Senior Ladies Knockout and the Junior singles knockout for high handicaps was won by James Cartwright beating Will Thompson. The ladies Muir Cup between Leah Radford and Yvette Joyce had been played the week before Yvette Joyce winning on the 19th hole.
