Congratulations to Drina Terzza and Julia Brown for winning their second round match of the Daily Mail Foursomes struggling through the horrendous wind that’s been blowing a Hoolie all day! The ladies had home advantage against the opposing team of ladies from Belton Park in Grantham.
Supported by Lady Vice Captain, Liz Snow and playing through a couple of showers with the stinging rain in their faces at one time, the match was up and down with the players reaching the 10th before a hole was halved with only two halved holes in the entire match, the other on the long par 4 13th. Drina and Julia left the 9th 1 up but lost the 11th to go back to all square. The pair were once again one up as they left the 12th and pulled away on 14,15 and 16 to secure a 4 and 2 win for a place in the third round.Both teams had enjoyed the game but were very windswept and pleased to be back inside after the walk in. Well done ladies!
