A very entertaining Quiz evening was held in the club house on Saturday 22nd February.
Approximately fifty entrants enjoyed a delicious meal of fish and chips, served up by the hardworking house team of Angie, Joel and a welcome to Maddie on her first evening event at the club.
Thanks to Elaine and Chris for running the ever popular ‘key to the door’ game, Alison won the key selection, but unfortunately did not pick the correct key, she won £20 on the evening, and the role over ‘key to the door’ now stands at £110! This draw will happen at the next games evening to be held on Saturday the 22nd of March, you must be there to win it!
The overall joint winners were the Ladies Captains team and the Davis family team, who have a long history with the club.
A big thanks to Doug Woolley for organising the questions and comparing the evening.
The Quiz entry fee raised £44 for the centenary fund. Adding to this the winners who generously donated their prize money meant we raised a total of £104.
