The Melton Ladies Handicap League Team played their first match of the season today, Tuesday 23 June, and also the teams first match in Division one of the Handicap League having been promoted at the end of last season. Played at home the Melton team of Karen Middleton, Drina Terzza, Leah Radford, Denise Waldron, Julia Brown and Sue Hitchman came up against the Ullesthorpe Court ladies team to win 2 and half to a half to start the season in a positive way. – Well done ladies.
