A strong field of golfers turned out on Saturday 7th September for the Greenhall Cup, a fourball betterball Stableford competition. It is a very prestigious competition and a format that many enjoy, as it encompasses the fun element of the game. Although a dry day, everyone was challenged by some strong crosswinds, which would certainly test the ability and club selection of many a good golfer. Despite the intervention of mother nature, the winning scores reflected some excellent golf which had been played over the 18 holes by many of the pairings.
