A strong field of 49 golfers turned out to try and gain points from Friday’s Road to Woodhall Spa (RWS) competition to help them climb the RWS Table of Merit and stand them in good stead for the end of season play off for the top 30 golfers. The overall scores were excellent with only 10 points separating the whole field from 1st to last competitor.
Winner Peter Poolan
The overall winner was Peter Poolan with an excellent score of 42 points and a superb shot to the green on the Par 3 14th,which resulted in him getting a ‘Hole in One’ congratulations. The other close runners were:
Corey Thornton 42 pts, Matthew Catton 40 pts, Tony Robinson 40 pts and Doug Woolley also with 40 pts.
