The annual inter team challenge got underway on Sunday 4th Nov with 6 teams made up of a Ladies’ team, Scratch, Senior, Mixed, B and C Team all fighting it out for the prestigious inter team trophy. It was a shotgun start as normal, 
where all the players started from the different competition white tees and the best 6 scores from each team member across the 18 holes were then added together. Players did not play with their team members, so the results were collated in the clubhouse at the end of event to determine the winning side.
The weather, which was initially cold but fine, quickly took a turn for the worse with a slight wind and heavy drizzle, making the going hard and holes playing much longer. The match was played as usual with good humour and laughter could be heard from many of the fairways. The outcome was an excellent win for the Seniors with 219 points. Second was the B team with 216 points and in third place was the mixed team with 210 points.
