On what was a very hot day and enjoying a well manicured course, both teams were able to play an array of good shots throughout their game. Liz Snow’s excellent birdie on the par 3 14th was not enough to turn the tide on her opponents.
Lady Captain Sandie Normanton and ‘Drina Terzza lead the teams out and comfortably won 5&4 on the 14th as did DeeAdams and Alison Gatward. Maureen Fisher and Sue Bennet took their game to 16th where they lost 3&2. The final result was a friendly two all draw.
The ladies enjoyed a tasty and well deserved lunch afterwards.
