On yet another hot and breezy day, Melton Ladies hosted a team of 8 ladies from Belton Woods in a friendly match this Tuesday, 3rd July. The ball was running well on the fairways – if you could find them
– and the greens were still in remarkable condition.
Belton Ladies played well and won 2 and a half to 1 and a half. The winning pair for Melton were Sue Millward and Margaret Samways . Bettyne Norton and Sue Stimson posted a half.
