On a warm Wednesday morning, the ladies set out in three balls to contest Round 1 of the President’s Putter. The course was again in superb condition and the greens running true, which helped the scoring as 4 ladies came in under handicap. In first place in Division 1 with an excellent nett 71 was Alison Gatward, now cut 2 shots. In second place on count back with 72 was Jeanette Holland and in third place also with 72 was Cheryl Osborne. The Competition Standard Scratch for the day was 74. Winner in Division 2 was Maureen McCall.
