At the AGM on the 22nd March, the final draw for the 100 Club fundraiser took place. The lucky winner of the £100 prize was outgoing Club President, Terry Brown. He very generously donated his win back to club funds and as we all know, every penny counts. Well done and thank you, Terry. Organiser, Gay Cham, would like to extend a big thank you to everyone who has supported the 100 Club over the last three years. As promised, along with money raised by the current Lady President, Bettyne Norton during her captain’s year, the funds raised in 2017/2018 were used to decorate the clubhouse. We are sure you will all agree that the result has been a welcome facelift in all areas, especially the ladies’ and gents’ locker rooms.
The 100 Club is £15 a year for one number and all proceeds go to the Clubhouse needs. There are 4 prize draws a year for £100, £50 and £25. They take place in July, October, January and March.
This year, we are planning to steam clean the carpet in the bar and dining area and, if there is any money over, we would like to buy more comfy chairs for the bar area.

Bettyne Norton will also be around the club house on a Saturday with the board – so dig deep and let’s keep on improving our facilities. You never know, you might also be a lucky winner!
