The C team kept up their winning ways under the leadership of team Captain Adrian Green with a 5 & 1 win at home against Sleaford.
Despite the weather warnings of possible thunder and lightning, the game was actually played in warm sunshine on a course which was in excellent condition.
The points came from the following pairs: brothers Alan Parkes and Eric Parkes won 3 & 1, Ken Longbottom and Andy Wade won 3 & 2, Dave Bailey and Jim Shaw won 3 &1, Colin Kitchen and Ady Stokes won 4 & 3. Pairings Adrain Green with Keith Tomblin and Andy Pedlar with Mark Lewis achieved very creditable halves.
