On Friday 29th February, Nancy Denny and Jean Moulds represented MMGC Ladies in the first
round of the Daily Mail Foursomes at Toft GC.
Thankfully, for the first match of the season, a gloriously sunny day lifted everyone’s spirits. As we have been playing off winter mats at MMGC, playing 18 holes without them for the first time was challenging. Although Tofts course was wet in places it played well with their greens in very good condition.
It was a well fought game which Kate Britton and I thoroughly enjoyed watching but unfortunately our ladies lost 4 and 2. This was mainly due to one of the ladies from Toft being spot on with every single putt.
