On Sunday 27 April the mixed team played Whetstone Golf Club Club at home. It was a
beautiful sunny day, and the course was in lovely condition.
8 pairs played a very competitive match with 3 games being decided on the 18 th hole.
Whetstone eventually won 4 ½ to 3 ½ .
Melton winners were Paul and Kate Britton, Gary Turner and Alison Savage, Steve and
Karen Middleton. David Hirst and Jackie Ford halved their game.
