On Wednesday 8th August, a team of Ladies in pink led by the current Lady Captain, Sandie Normanton took on the team in blue headed by the Lady Vice Captain, Nancy Denny in a Better Ball Matchplay event. Although the weather had cooled a little, the ground was still hard and running fast and all matches were hotly contested. Several of the games were decided on the 18th and the result was a win in favour of the Lady Captain’s team 4 to 2- definitely all ‘in the pink’. Congratulations all round to everyone who took part in this extremely enjoyable event.
