Thursday 7th June saw Melton League team take on Market Harborough at home, with both teams already with wins under their belts. However, Melton did not take the advantage of the home match as they lost 5 points to 3.
There were no excuses offered for the loss, as the weather was very good and the course was presented in excellent condition. In fact, the Market Harborough Team Captain made especial comment on the state of the course and how impressive it looks at the moment.
The points for Melton were won by Dale Radford 5&3, Craig Hallam 5&3 and Dave Poolan 1 up. Two teams will be promoted from division 5 to division 4, so this loss after 2 wins in a row will make it a close thing midway through the season.
