Mingles winners Sandie and Phil
Another good turn out with the Mingles, but this time the back 9 holes were selected for play instead of the front 9, giving the players a much sterner test on the longer par 5s, especially in the gusting head wind. The resultant scores were slightly higher than normal which was evident from the hole selection and the weather conditions.
The outcome was a 1st for Club Chairman Phil Millward and Sandie Hudson with a nett 37.6. 2nd pairing George Schmidt and Pat Barnes with a nett 39.2. Tying for 3rd place both pairs with 40.4 were Owen and Chris Cook with Tom Eadon and Liz Clark. Best fourball were Eddie and Gay Cham with Phil Millward and Sandie Hudson with a nett 79.4.
