New Golf Professional — Dan Bailey — Arrives at MMGC

WE ARE DELIGHTED TO WELCOME Dan Bailey as Melton Mowbray Golf Club’s new PGA Professional.  Dan has come highly recommended by those who have met and played alongside him at L&RGU level, joining us from Lutterworth Golf Club where he has been the Assistant Professional for the last three years working alongside Lee Challinor, the Head Professional.

Dan has been playing golf since the age of 12. He represented Leicestershire County Boys at the age of 14, playing off a handicap of five and over the next few years progressed through the ranks of the County Juniors and second team all the way to the County first team. It was at this time he was offered an Assistant Pro position at Forest Hill Golf Club and turned Professional, playing off scratch at the age of 21. Whilst training to be a club Professional Dan finished in the top 30 of the Midland Order of Merit.

Dan is an established golf coach and has had great success (in conjunction with his website) developing his teaching business to clients of all ages and abilities, with two of his junior girls reaching the national skills finals at Woodhall Spa.
