RULES AND CONDITIONS
The competition is played over the season in the various formats of singles competition as indicated in the fixture list.
Points are awarded at the conclusion of each leg on an Order of Merit basis, and all players who return a score and are not disqualified receive entry points. It is the responsibility of the player to return their scores correctly throughout the RWS Qualifiers.
At the end of the season, the top thirty and ties in the Order of Merit are invited to the “Shootout”, but players who are not available for the final should not take part to give as many players as possible the chance of winning a place at the Grand Final which is normally the Saturday after the “Shootout”.
The winner of the Order of Merit qualifies automatically to the Grand Final irrespective of his finishing position in the “Shootout” along with the top five players in the “Shootout”. If required, a sudden death play-off is used to fill the places of the top five players.
The winner of the “Grand Final” receives the RWS Trophy. There are no other prizes.
