Second Win for Paul Gough bags him the Goodacre Rose Bowl

The Goodacre Rose Bowl was decided on the Monday evening this year as we watched the exciting conclusion to the last round of the 144th Open Championship.  Congratulations go to Paul Gough who won the competition by virtue of having the better Stableford score on the Sunday morning.  In fact, Paul had the best score of the whole field with 39 points – so it was a fully deserved win.

Paul was tied with Ed Thompson on the Net Rose bowl score of 33 points after being deducted from their Open Championship professional partners final day Medal score, whilst Dave Timbrell finished 3rd on 35 points also by virtue of the better Stableford score.

The Two’s Sweep was won by Guy Rayson who registered a 2 on the 5th.

Paul has also been rewarded for his good form with an exceptional score reduction having played 4 under twice in the space of a week Click here for Full Scores and Pro Partners
