Steve (Medics’ Captain) and Haydn (Teachers’ Captain)
On Monday 6th May the annual Medics v Teachers match took place between members of MMGC loosely associated with the medical or teaching profession (past or present), raising money for course improvements. It was a shot gun start, 4 ball betterball Stableford competition played over 18 holes. Every year it is well supported and last year the teachers came out on top, so the medics were well up for revenge this time around.
With a good turn out of 57 golfers made up of both gents and ladies, the overall winners again were the teachers with a tally of 9 matches won, 1 match drawn and 5 lost. This year the teachers also tipped into a total tally of more than 600 points!
