On 2nd August, the Mixed team hosted Charnwood Forest Golf Club for a mixed fixture. The sun shone and the fairways were hard and fast leading to some good play. The match was played as a four ball better ball match play format and was fiercely competed with more than half of the matches going to the eighteenth hole. There were 5 matches played and Charnwood took the spoils 3.5 to 1.5.
Well done to Paul and Kate Britton who won their match on the last hole and David and Janet Bentley who secured a
half. Many thanks to everyone who took part.
