An intrepid group of Meltonians took up the reciprocal opportunity of visiting Leighton Buzzard Golf course. A very nice challenging course which states a slope rating of 127, making it an easier course than ours – we did not find that to be true.
Set in a beautiful woodland setting only a few miles away from Woburn GC, the course is a pleasure to play, but has a tiring back nine holes commencing with their signature 11th par three. I do hope more members will take up the opportunity to visit in the future, the staff are very welcoming in a very nice club house over looking the course.
