Twenty five ladies gathered in the Lincolnshire Wolds for 2 days of golf at Kenwick Park, a picturesque and challenging course. The first day was run as a Florida Scramble so players could get used to the course and the winning team came in with a sub 60 score! On day two, it was a singles Stableford format and 6 ladies came in at on handicap or better. Chris Hall took top prize with an excellent 42 points with Penny Dodds just behind on 41. A heartfelt thanks goes to Lady Captain, Alison Savage, who provided great prizes, (foregoing hers several times!) and a very entertaining quiz on Sunday night. Laughter and fun were the order of the weekend and a great time was had by everyone. We will all remember who had the smallest room and had to share a bed and the eclectic mix of objects in a bag that needed to be identified by touch only – say no more….
