Thankfully, on Sunday 31st May, the rain stayed away for the Mixed Team’s trip to Wollaton Park Golf Club. This was a new fixture for the team and everyone really enjoyed playing the course. We were also entertained by the Country music festival in Wollaton Park during the afternoon, but not by the Karoke section!
The fixture was played as an AmAm with 8 teams in total made up of 2 players from each club. This made for a really sociable and enjoyable day.
All the scores were close together with Liz and Haydn Snow being the Melton pairing in the winning team.
Many thanks to everyone who took part. The next match is at home on 28th June against Radcliffe on Trent.
