One hundred and four players took part in our Senior Spring Open played over eighteen holes from the yellow tees. Refreshments were provided by our Lady Captain and her band of ladies at the Halfway House and this was gratefully received. Other ladies helped the day by manning the check-in desk and acting as starters.
There were many comments on the excellent presentation of the course, and refreshments were most welcome after play. On a windy day, the weather remained mainly dry although a few thunder showers passed us by at a safe distance.
